the coconut oil provides instant, but temporary relief. thanks! what has helped me most - other than that - is ice cubes (Ahhhh) it is really all i can eat. there is also a coconut milk yogurt you can get called "so delicious cultured coconut milk" and an ice cream made from coconut milk called "coconut bliss" and they make bars i have been eating too that have helped. other than that, that is all i can eat. i ate spicy food the other night and was able to eat nothing for two days except for ice and the aforementioned foods. |

I have some white spots, and whilst the doctor says I seem to have an ulcer and prescribed a paste, I am also taking antibiotics for an inflamed spot on the chest, and getting quite severe head and neck pains. Ibruprofen gel and painkillers are easing it a little - I shall also use some of the tips you recommend! A full night-sleep does not help much, still get very heady the next day! |

Is there any instant cure for this. I am just fed up of these lesions. I want to get rid of them permanently. I get this once in almost 1& 1/2 month, almost 90 days. I eat spicy food & I think so that the way of my brushing is also not very good. My mother says that she also used to get these when she was a child. What should I do. Please please Please please Please help me out. I will visit this site after 5 days so please help me out. I am waiting. |

This article, while somewhat informative, is fogged by bad English and terrible grammatical errors. If you want someone to read this and take it seriously, take 3 minutes and ask for a friend to proofread it for you. I was going to list the errors and correct them, but they are so numerous I'd have to rewrite the entire article. And, defining things like "pipal tree leaves" and "banyan tree" might be helpful to those who haven't lived in tropical lands and don't know what they are. |

I am very surprised to see aphthous ulcers of the tongue described as "usually painless." I have had these ulcers, occasionally, all my life. I've had major ones, as well as, more commonly, very small ones.
Regardless of size, they can be excruciating, especially when eating, drinking, or talking. They heal within a few days. I have never had one that I would describe as "painless." |
