Damo This article is very misleading in todays economic climate. Job requirements are back up to 3000 hours. You will be flying for well over a year before you get a good paying job, that is if you can find a job in the first place. CFI jobs, whcih are normally the first, are slim to non existent. 1/11/2011

Ryan good information, but the "paying your dues" part is an under statement. networking will make or break your career, along with being at the right place at the right time. so many (heli-pilots) don't get far. furthermore, do your research with the school of your choice. we need not have another silver state helicopter school fall through the cracks and hurt so many. 3/28/2009
