Charles I was just inform that "Tomato's" cause gout. Is this true? Because I am truely tring to fine out what cause me to have my first bout about two weeks ago. I do not eat and can not tell when the last time I had red meat. Please advise. 9/2/2009
Chris This article is good advice. Generally I only get a gout attack when I stop drinking water - if I maintain my intake at between 2 to 4 liters per day I have few problems. Also if I do get an attack drinking at least 4 liters per day greatly improves the situation 12/17/2007
