| Samuel Campbell | The author of this particular article often makes references to the obvious points of construction and history, stating that others are missing the factual information tangibly presented to us. However, the author fails to note some other factual information we have available to us through modern research. I wouldn't doubt that much speculation on the Great Pyramid of Giza is largely worthless, however the most important fact remains: we don't know how or why the Great Pyramid was built. Ultimately, and this is the major flaw of the article, the author is no more informed than myself or "another person, who could not call himself a learned scholar by any stretch of the imagination". There is no substantial information contained in this article, just simple conjecture of the kind the author grumbles about with gusto. The author fails to note that the blocks show evidence of machining, that we, as modern men, have failed to replicate the means used by the Egyptians (or whatever race or species) to construct such a monolithic structure , the fact that we have yet to truly discern the original purpose of this structure, and a myriad of other issues. In an attempt to dispel conjecture and imagination the author only offers more of the same. I would say thanks for the usable information, but sadly, there is none contained within this article. | 7/11/2010 |
