Some Symptoms of Diabetes in Children and Early Detection can save you a lot of problems

To determine the symptoms of diabetes in children, parents must check if the child has sugar in his or her urine and monitor if the child visits the restroom very frequently. Does the child drink plenty of water, start to lose weight, feel hungry or tired all the time and observe if there are signs of the child becoming irritable easily.

Gwen is twitching in the eyes a sign? 3/31/2009
Marie my daughter passed out after a dentist appointment yesterday. She has had headaches and stomachaches since then. The doctors checked her heart and sent her home. I feel there is something else so I tested her sugar last night when she wasn't feeling well and it was 201. I just read the symptoms and she gets stomachaches alot, wants to eat all the time, She threw up before she passed out and started to when she woke up. she is very irritable all the time anymore and is tired all the time. she has also complained about tingling in her arms and legs. She says they feel like they go to sleep. I just want to find an answer and thought this might help.I think 201 is a little high for an 8 year old but I'm unsure. 5/20/2008
