Ken Yahoo, went to s sports trainer seminar yesterday and the trainer hit it right on the soleus. Massage hurt like hell, but is necessary to break the scar tissue down and to get that muscle back into shape. Got to force myself to cause that pain 4 or 5 times daily till all is well. Thanks for the great article 4/29/2010

Claire I had experienced what I am guessing to be a Charley Horse a few days ago in the middle of the night, and every day since its becoming harder to walk on my leg. My calf keeps hurting whenever I move or try to stretch or flex it, and when I compare how my calf feels to the other one, it seems to be loose, and somewhat swollen. Any suggestion on whats wrong? 6/3/2009

Bit of a Whiner I notice that nowhere in your article do you mention lactic acid, which is a likelier cause for the short-term muscle pain you mentioned. This pain is caused by sudden physical activity without such preparations as stretching or light warm-up exercise. You might wish to make a note in any later articles that you create. If you need more information, I am sure a simple internet search for 'lactic acid' will give you all the information you need to complete an article. 12/4/2007
