| Wyndi Fosh | I read so much conflicting information about these spiders...if they indeed are not the same thing as the Brazilian Wandering Spider, then why are they so intertwined with this cousin? I don't want to kill something (because I have small children) that does good. I, in fact, don't like to kill anything, but there are several around my pool area in the screen, and we swim everyday. Where does this information come from? | 6/2/2011 |

| Joan E | I have been watching a banana spider alongside my screened in porch since June. I call her Charlotte. There was a small spider in a web not too far away from her. Could that have been the male?. I haven't noticed that "she" shed her skin. It is now the end of Nov and she is still there. I prodded with a twig and it moved very slowly but is still there. Do they hybrinate in the winter? Would it be possible for me to catch it and keep it in a box.? | 11/22/2009 |
