Kate I bought a Shark LE from Bed Bath and Beyond last spring.
I used it less than a dozen times on hardwood and two area rugs and it started overheating and shutting off.
After contacting Euro-Pro via email and receiving no response I find that I have this virtually brand new piece of junk taking up space in my closet.
It was a waste of money and the Euro-Pro customer service is not what I would call "poor" it's NON EXISTANT.

DMS I found this article very helpful. I was trying to find info from consumer reports...but they want to charge a fee. Thak for making this information available. 12/22/2008
Bobbi The Shark is a piece of crap. If anything it makes a bigger mess because it just pushes the dirt around. I purchased one with a 60-day "risk free" guarantee. It's not risk free - they charge you $35 to ship it to you and do not pay for the return shipping. As far as I can tell this is not clearly disclosed anywhere. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! 7/2/2008
