Education in Somaliland: as Racist as in fake - Ethiopia?

You cannot become the ally of those who disrespecting your past and national heritage, hate your heroes, defame and minimize if not usurp your past, and oppress your compatriots, who happen to be involuntarily included of their territory.

Hanad Yusuf I read lot of your articles, you have written about Somaliland or Somalia. What I realised is that you lack the basic concept of what is called law, while saying illegal president or illegal state of Somaliland. The basic concept of law or legality is the RIGHT. I wonder why you deny rights of 3 million of people or so in your terms, while you seem being bias to the other 4 million which are the same ethnic Somalis. Moreover, I see in you, that you are trying to create history for Somalia,as the seceded territory Somaliland is diverging your mental portrait into parts,so you can't make the ends meet in order to profess Somali history of your own or Somalia history as you would have liked. Be realistic, history is true events of past recorded on time. For example, when you are mentioning Somaliland as British colony, history recorded it was British Protectorate Somaliland, terms differ in meaning ,slight deflection might lead you astray, and if you speak Arabic-"Mahmiyah" differs "Musta'marah",whether you like or dislike, history of Somaliland is reckoning day after day. Part of its' history is that they once united with Somalia, that lasted 1960-1991. If you are admired with the idea of Somali peninsula having one government or being one state, under one flag,or under one president then you are too emotional.According to UN charter or OAU charter Somaliland has legal boundaries, and it is a recognized territory if former political maps are taken as reference but not your semi-fictitious words. And when I see, your words describing Somaliland's elected president as a criminal man, I view you as a professor of same root or akin of Salman Rushdie who compiles fable and ornamented false literature of his own fancy, under the shade of freedom of speech in the western world, to gain publicity, fame or money. I affirm you can get fame or money in better way than fabricating propaganda for Somaliland. 8/3/2008
