Jesus Christ, narcissist?

Illegitimate and adopted children, especially of humble origins, often develop narcissistic defenses to fend off persistent feelings of inadequacy and inferiority.

Seek Truth By the way, this article did not "offend [my] sensibilities."

It just made me feel incredibly sad that someone could misunderstand Jesus Christ to such a great degree. If you want to examine narcissism...examine Satan. He's known as the author of lies among many things. You could add author of narcissism to his defining characteristics.

Seek Truth Jesus was and IS God. I find Sam Vaknin's articles interesting but this one gets a failing grade. To take on Jesus is to take on God himself. Sam clearly doesn't know that God because if he did he'd be on his knees feeling the redemptive love that only the Father of the Universe can provide.

God doesn't force anyone. Unlike some religions that take by sword through history, true followers of Christ have presented God and if spurned would leave with the dust of there shoes behind them.

Neelam Sinha And it 100% wrong that illegimate or children who suffer in their childhood become narcissist, When I think of me I got a lot of love in my childhood and always stood first in my class so I got always praises fro everywhere and above all everybody liked me andstill love and like mebecausethey find me physically attractive too and it always happend that wherever I went or go I got and get... you can say i8nstant fame ... if I think and if YOU CAN THINK then don't you think these are enough to make aperson narcissist?
Psychological theories are not always right or perhaps the don't fully understand what isbhind some behavior, for example a psychologist say male get atracted to afemale because they find particular female can give then better and healthy children... then why a rappist go to a particular female ...are there kids in there mind?

Neelam Sinha Jesus knew how to get etenal fame, but what is wrong anybody who knows who he/she is... the truth of life, is a narcissist , and they DO what they can do to get eternal fame,it depends... he was not like Alexsender the great who got riches... and soldgers who get go with him... in search of glory... in search of eternal fame... so he... Jesus used another way of glory... it was his capacity to magnetise people so they followed him... perhaps or yes you too can be narcissist and you too want that kind of fame... but you still don't have the right kind of instrument... the key in your hand. 6/12/2008
