Would I Buy A Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Bread Machine? I Don't Think So

Despite Zojirushi making some of the best bread machines ever made, I'd stay away from the BB-HAC10.

Duane So, the reason you would stay away is the price. And yet I've read a lot more "mixed" comments on the Breadman machine you like than I have on the Zo's. From the research I've done this week, I'm going with the bigger Zo after using an Hitachi years ago and tiring of the "thick at the bottom, thin at the top" vertical loaves it seemed to like making. We all have opinions, and the price of a unit that is amortized over hundreds of loaves of bread over many years says to me to lean toward the higher quality/durability units. In the end, we all pay the price and take our chances. 9/19/2008
SV Drakus A useless video, paltry power backup, lesser delay timer, limited cycles, small loaf size, no extras dispenser. Humm, sounds like a machine like this should be worth $60 at W-M. We are a husband and wife who live on a boat. We love good bread, but only eat about 1 lb every two days. Then there's the issue of counter space. Our BB-HAC10 fulfills our desires for delicious, fresh bread and uses the minimum of counter space. So we are very satisfied with our Baby Zo. As a side note we run it off our house battery and inverter. 8/30/2008
Zella With some online hunting, it is possible to buy this mini Zo for $128, which I think is an excellent price for a quality bread machine. 7/15/2008
