What stupidity...
Yes there are evil and good Ethiopians from all of its diverse ethnicity's, but deliberately defining the Amhara's and Tigray's as the country's racial brutes who have always been cruel to their other countrymen is not fair. You haven't mentioned all the other times the Oromo throughout it's history, since the beginning of their invasion, the thousands they have mercilessly massacred throughout their wanderings of defenseless children and peasants. How about they're cowardly engagements they take on accounts of war, not caring that their numbers make up more then double of the amhara's they have hardly at a time pitched a fair battle, either eluding a loss by hiding and then attacking once the battle has been won by its adversaries, or by siding with invaders such as the Italians or the British. Shame on you, your the defender of the weak and cowardly. |

We ,Oromo or souther ethiopian people don't accepte any words of Dr shamshadin arabization movment in ethiopia . Ethiopia is an african not arabe, we have a famous national identity of 3000 years . this three thousand years is not only amahara or tigray. It is mainly the history of oromo ,agawu and Afar people . The ethiopian alphabetic letters are originally belongist to oromo people , when we use the word Abyssinya we must understand that abraha ashine was not tigray nor amahar , He was a cushaite kingdom that is oromo. the Axum history is belongist to souther ethiopians what so ever , all ethiopian tribs ,ethinis are unsepareble . it is just needs a real democracy for nations it is neccessry to omite dictators like meles zenawi

The Amhara people were colonized by Oromos nearly two hundred years ago. The Oromo's are the most responsible group in devastating the glorious past's of the southeren nation and nationalities. However with all his political shortcomings it was the effort of Emperor MenilikII who realsed the Southeren nation and nationalities to enjoy the benfit of greater Ethiopia. I am Guraghe by ethnicity. As far as I know we were remined locked by the Oromo expansionist until the day of the coming of Menilik to powerII. The Wolayta, the silte, the Alaba, the Gamo, the Amaro Kele and many other ethnic groups claimed that they are decendent from the north. The Amhara and Tigryan people had had a long standing relation ship with the south since time immemorial. The monasteries in Wolayta Sodo, the Amberich mountain of Kembata, the Bibir maryam monasteries and the Island of Zay people in zway are the living testimony for the integration of North with the South.
