Nelly94 Thank you i am doing a paper in high school:) nd i choose too do this topic because i have a uncle who has past away from aids cause he was gay.:( but he always would say he did not choose too be gay that he was born that way. so i decided to argue on this i also believe that he was born that way and did not choose too be.. so thank you for the info.. :) 4/13/2011

Amber If it were 100% genetic (such as eye color, hair color, etc), then in the case of identical twins, they would both have the same orientation. Yet google the studies; there is always, always, always more evidence for environmental factors. But regardless, even if they could find a "gay gene," it wouldn't matter. God is our creator and our Lord, and what he says goes. He will not give you any temptation you cannot handle, and any sin can be overcome with victory in Christ. There are plenty of Christians who have turned their back on homosexual lifestyles. Although we are fallen and may have to battle lustful desires until we die, that's exactly what we do--we fight them. 6/14/2010

mose i think people dont choose to become gay its a natural thing or i d raher say its in the blood. its also caused by the atmosphere in which a child grows up in. another thing is that boarding schools are also another cause of that where boys shower togather and in most cases this boys are reaching puberty and all they see are each others penises and asses in the end they will be attracted to that as the needs arises. they will become bisexuals or gays when they grow as a result. talking from experience... 8/23/2009
Kelly Ofcourse there is a gene that makes you Gay, just like there is a gene that gives you, your eye or hair color. People need to stop looking so far into it, that they distort the whole thing. If you're Gay, you're Gay .. if you're not, you're not. 8/22/2009
