Jeff Graham What do you do with them after they wear out???? Last I checked, real trees will rot or can be made into mulch. And ALL real Christmas trees come from tree farms where they are grown just like corn and other food crops! NO deforestation EVER took place from Christmas trees!! Please don't spread rubbish like this! 11/5/2007
nancy Deforestation is not really an issue here. Most trees that people buy are farmed and others are permitted out from National Forest districts with very stringent rules that are actually beneficial to our forests.
Artificial trees are usually made with synthetic petroleum products -- giving off toxins in your home and polluting the environment in their manufacturing....
Transportation pollution -- that's an issue with both types of trees.
Best yet, plant one in your yard and decorate it year after year and have your Christmas morning outside! Like THAT will ever happen!
