Diane Every other piece of advice I read about journalling stresses the importance of writing down negative thoughts as well as positive ones. As far as I can tell, the author has no kind of training in therapy or counseling whatsoever - I think it's irresponsible to be offering advice in those circumstances. Would you take advice about treating a serious injury from someone with no medical training? 3/1/2011
Jen I don't know if I agree about not including negativity in your journal. I think there is power in being able to turn negativity around through dialogue with one's self. The key is to follow it through to the positive and not turn the entry into a session of complaints. 1/22/2011
LiesSecrets15 what if i can't do any of these things? what if i take meds, and try to wake up feeling like its a brand new start, but i still want to die every night before i go to sleep?
How do I stay alive? I'm running out of reasons.

Shannon C The subject matter is very good and the points were made, however, the use of poor grammar and run-on sentences made it hard to comprehend. I made a revised version of the first 2 paragraphs just for the fun of it. The author's writing skills are barely above the 4th grade skill level. This is a poor portrayal of a knowledgeable web-site. 10/14/2007
