liz something i always tell ppl when they dye at store, the color will fade. teals and most blues fade to green or another unpleasant color. reds turn pink or orange, purple turns pink when u bleAh it. just something to think about when you are wondering about the up keep of your new color. 6/14/2010
Emiko I have a question: I have blond hari already, but it's more like a dirty blond, but definately not brown. Could I get away with skipping bleaching my hair if I want pink hair? I was thinking about Atomic Pink, Virgin Rose, or Cupcake Pink by Speacial Effects. 11/25/2009
mary when youre bleaching, find a stylist friend to buy lamaur, its the best bleach youll find out there with enzymes to keep from further damaging your hair. heat does help the color take. i worked at sin city hair for a while and every color that we did that happened to include special effects sat under the heater for 45 minutes. it lasts for 2 or 3 months depending on your hair care regiment afterwards. aka skip shampooing for two or so days and rinse with cold water, your cuticle will close up and hold onto that color a bit longer 9/8/2009

christy even the stuff at sally beauty supply sux... Only dye ur hair pink or other bright colors (bleached) or not if u have the $ to REdo every 1 1/2 weeks or so.. Other wise dontt waite ur time (or $ for that matter) 4/28/2009
