Bunmi I think management can define as the person that work to accomplish the goal of an organization and who also direct one or more people in formal organisation.
Function of management
Planning: Setting obectives, both long-term and short-term, and developing strategies for achieving them. What ever you do in in planning lays the ground wor for other tasks.
Organising: making orderly arrangments of resources, such as peopel and materials.
Staffing: Selecting, training and developing people. In some cases, it may be done by specialists, such as those in the personnel department.
Supervising (leading): Directing, guiding, and motivating employees to work toward achieving the organisation's goals.
Controlling: Monitoring the orgnaisation's progress and adapting methods towards achieving it goals. +2348060178195
