linda gayle i have been on weight watchers for over a year and do 12 hours a week of aerobic exercise, at first i did lose weight, but now, even with adding strength training, i am not losing anything, for over 3 months. what in the world am i doing wrong? 6/18/2011
Sandra Starr I am sorely disappointed that the food companion book is not available. I have been waiting over 3 weeks. My questiion is why such a vital part of find values for the program is unavailable. It would have been more fair to the participants to have such information available for a new program. I have been a ww member for many years and this delay is not in character for your organization. 1/19/2011
k campbell i did weight watchers 4 yrs ago and lost nearly 3 stone! I found it easy to follow and to stick to! I hav since then put on the weight after having 2 children! I am going to start this diet again as it was so successful last time 1/7/2011
Shelia Paul I realize that you want people to join so your company makes money. However, have you thought about the money your losing by people like me that dont want to join, but still want to use your methods. I mean,if I knew how many points to alocate for my diet, I would spend money on your products for an accurate count to do your diet on my own. However, since you seem to guard that info from people like me,it would be useless for me to by your products.(frozen dinners,snacks...) Therefore, you just lost money for more possible sales. How does the saying go, "Penny wise, dollar fullish". Its sad, during these hard economic times I do not have the extra money for your program, but was still willing to spend it on your product. Oh well, I guess I'll spend my money on a different diet. Thanks anyway 11/23/2010
Paula Manno i have been on w/w for 10 weeks now, & lost 15.6 lbs. In my opinion w/w has taught me to eat the proper way. I still enjoy the snacks I like, which is calculated in my daily points. The meetings, I have found to be very successful in my journey. The instructor is very informative & she herself is on the same journey. You also meet new people going through the same thing who also have wonderful ideas. So thank you w/w! 11/7/2010
Rosalie In my view, there is no healthier diet (eating plan) better than weight watchers. To many of us, once you restrict one type of food, that is what you crave most.
I tried many diets and finally got convince by afrient to try weight watchers. I went and am very satisfied with the results, and I am not an excerssize nut, mustly walk when I remember to. Still I lost so far 40 Lbs. and need just 10 more to goal.
It takes time, though! But think it usually takes time to put it on! No miracle, just perserverance.

nnuunnyyaa to do weight watchers you need to know how many points your allowed to have! but because no one that creates these sites takes that into consideration I have to search the whole world internet just to find my points! 7/14/2008

tammy would like to see point system... 6/22/2008
Robin Castle It's very apparent this reporter has never actually LOOKED at the WW material. WW does NOT try to make you believe you can lose weight and eat without restriction. It's about PORTION CONTROL, which is heavily stressed. You don't need calculators to figure out points because the "very complex formula" is never given out, you just use the provided slider, which goes higher than 10 points. A person's dietary needs not considered? That's why WW preaches the 8 healthy guidelines heavily. I think a closer inspection of the WW material would be very helpful for the accuracy of this report. 5/24/2008
unonmus How many calories can you eat a day? 4/15/2008
Kat I have lost over 30 pounds on Weight Watchers and am now a lifetime member so I attend meetings for free. I have never been a rigid point counter like many people, and I admit that would make me nuts. I got an understanding of how many points most things have by using online WW in addition to attending the meetings at work every week. In my group at least half of the members have reached their goal and are lifetime members. The convenience of having meetings at work has really helped me. Also Weight Watchers is not just a diet it helps you make lifestyle changes and encourages exercise. You get activity points which means you can eat more. This has been a great program for me.
