| Rita | Hi John, Thank you. I guess it depends on how strongly gingery you want your tea to be. I like using about half a tbsp of crushed ginger in a cup of regular tea - but I like mine strong, and being an Indian (we use copious amounts of ginger in our food) I am used to ginger. Since green tea is a delicate tea, I would advise just using a little, just to give it that wonderful gingery flavor. As for the amount of ginger to be used per day, this herb has no harmful effects, although, like any other herb or food, if you are not used to it, it is best to be cautious at first. - :) | 9/29/2007 |
