| lisa | it sounds like most of the people on your list are kidney patients, so is my mom, & they are right your food list is not low potassium! you can harm people with the information you are giving. I've watched people with kidney diease havve their kidneys shut down eating off your food list, some have died, some have went on dialysist, and some have been ok, but when some one like you give out false and wrong information you kill. you need to get your list from those who live everyday with kidney diease, because they know what you can and cannot eat | 6/15/2011 |

| Nancy | I am struggling incorporating a low potassium diet into my diabetic meal plan. i.e. Your article indicates no more than 1/2 cup of milk or milk products daily. My diabetic plan is at 1 1/2 cups of milk or low fat yogurt at brerakfast only. I do not have any dairy at lunch except I eat low fat cottage cheese and no dairy at dinner. My starch is a 3 servings at each meal. This makes them go into a high potassium range. Your article says I can eat 1 specific size pear and other low potassium diets say no pears at all. I am at 2800- 3000 calories a day. I am insulin dependant. My doctor says pay attention to fruits and vegetables for now and don't worry about dairy. Due to my own research I am not eating 100% whole wheat or bran because of the potassium content. Your website was given to me by my doctor, but the low potassium diet is from the American Dietetic Assoc. Please help. any milk pr |

| Trish Smith | I was on four Darvocet a day until some idiots connected with the FDA decided to take it off the market. Bye the end of the first seven days of being of my medication for Fibromyalgia. I began waking with severe leg cramps bad enough that i t would wake me from a sound sleep and I spend the entire day with the soreness. I went to get some Potassium vitamins and I am drinking a Yahoo, everyday, it has 310mg of Potassium in each can. I am also sleeping on a heating pad every night. Again because of the removal of Darvocet the only pain killer I can tolerate. I am in a real fix and need help. My Dr. did change me to Tramadol 2 every 6 hrs. | 1/5/2011 |
