Herniated Disc Pain - How To Cure It

Herniated disc means the protrusion of the disc in the spine. It is essentially the same situation as a bulging disc, which can be an extremely painful condition. Its occurrence is manifested by a herniated disc pain that is usually felt on the back or thigh and leg area. A herniated disc is more common in the lumbar area, than any other area in the back.

Sandra McFaul Herniated discs are a very common problem. I believe not only for people who sit at a desk but who also do manual work. I have heard that 80% of the population suffers back pain at least once during their lifeime and unfortunately it does recurr. 9/29/2008
cary the statement in the above article "non- steroidal anti-inflammatory medications are often the most effective, specifically Medrol dose pack" is incorrect. Medrol is in fact a steroid. Non-steroidals are drugs like ibuprofen, naproxen, ketoprofen, etc. 5/25/2008
