B Archer can you tell me about a bee my friend and i saw in June this year on a golf course? It was a large bee with a much smaller bee attached to its tail. They were on the green and we suspected they were either, mating or, the bigger bee was carrying a baby bee. It got very annoyed when we disturbed it. We thought nothing of this but, the following week, same golf course, i was about to 'tee off' when a large bee flew accross my eye line with a smaller bee sitting on its tail.any ideas or suggestions for its name please? 11/13/2010

Ivan Knowles Hi! I'm from the Bahamas ( Nassau) and visiting family here in Houstan Tx. as I view a flower garden at the rear of my families house, I've noticed a different species of bees, unfamilier to the Bahamas, so being curious, I logged on to your website, based on the discription of bees given on that site, I've concluded that these bees are the "African Killer Bees"... My question to you is, "Are They Safe To Have Roaming The Area ?" ..ps. please send me some info on the above mentioned bees. Thank You ... 5/13/2010
