Linda Crowford We can not deny the fact that birth control pills do have side effects but very slim margin of women who are on birth control might get affected. Some side effects like headache, change of mood, beast tenderness etc are temporary and must go away in few days. Your body may react differently to different pills. Therefore, what we strongly recommend is that patient must get doctor or healthcare professional's advice prior deciding to go for birth control pills. In any case, almost all contraception medicines are supplied with prescription with exception of Plan B Emergency contraception that is sold Over-The-Counter for women 18 years old and above. Holly Manufacturers are offering a variety of birth control, but they are not listing the side effects that will come with taking birth control 30 years down the road. How is it that you can say taking the pill is a health benefit, when for most women it is not. Do you think having thrombosis, headaches, thyroid and adrenal problems is great, not to mention now you will have high cholesterol and high sugar levels due to birth control.
