| Mariah | Very helpful to cuz I am doing a project on emotion | 1/25/2011 |
| Jess | Anger is actually a secondary emotion, not a primary one. One must feel a primary emotion (pain, frustration, etc) in order to become angry. | 1/6/2011 |

| Cheryl Petersen | The negative seems to outweigh the positive, until I realize Love and joy live long, while the negatives only hurt themselves. But, good list to contemplate, thanks. | 10/16/2010 |
| Raymond R | I personaly am intreged with your use of vocabulary and have became more informed of the basic human emotions. | 9/16/2010 |

| Chris | Hey uh... Where does the sensation of exhaustion go? The reason I bring this up is there are several emotions listed above that can accompany exhaustion but to be exhausted doesn't obligate any of the other emotions listed be present. If it can stand on its own as a sensation that takes place both in mind and body...shouldn't it be its own category? |

| Jennifer | I came across this article doing research for a project and I must say that I disagree about one of your main emotions. An emotion is something that you can feel. Love is not an emotion. You FEEL anger, joy, sadness, and fear; but you do not FEEL love. Love may be sensed, not felt. A person is IN LOVE with someone or something. It is a state of mind, a state of being; not a feeling/emotion. | 4/15/2010 |
| invisble | I think this was great, it helps you use other words than just anger. i'm writing poems and having to describe emotion, these diffrent emotions will help my poem have a more uniqe touch to it. | 4/13/2010 |
| Tracy | I found this article to be a very good basis to what I am looking for. Thank you for posting this article. Abundance to all~ | 2/7/2010 |
| Thomas | Thank you for the list, it helps with borderline individuals. | 1/26/2010 |
| Onyx | The human emotions are quite interesting, yet unnecessary. Since I have disregarded my emotions, blocked them out in a sense, my family seems to have more respect for me. My mother has told me that i am acting mature and the last time i was scolded severely was before winter break. Unfortunately this is not beneficial to my social life... fortunatelyf i have overcome the pain that comes with losing a friend. If only they knew... | 12/27/2009 |
| brianlord | Where would regret fit into this model? | 12/1/2009 |
| Stephen | Under rage you list loathing twice. Other than that a good article! | 11/12/2009 |
| Deez | I see anger as more of a secondary emotion. In many cases it appears to come from having youir feelings hurt in one way or another. So that initially you may feel sad but as you think about your situation more and more you lose site of what it is that has made you sad and just moved on to feeling angry because of this sadness. I am sure it is all cyclical from one emotion to another but I still think that Anger is a secondary emotion. | 11/11/2009 |
| ISRE | drivel, complete drivel. Read some philosophy, anthropology, or psychology, and educate your views a little rather than make it all up | 10/30/2009 |
| Will | So... What's confusion? | 10/6/2009 |
| thomas | where does greed fit in this list? | 7/25/2009 |
| Andrew | I used this for ideas for an "emotional poetry" assignment for English. Thanks for all the descriptive terms n' such! | 5/26/2009 |
| S. Surujdeo-Mah | The basic emotions and its expansion to secondary and tertiary is well done. As a simple classification to understanding emotions that we regularly experience it is a good starting point to understand one's self and others. | 2/13/2009 |
| joe jonas | wow this has alit of emotions ya diddy dawg | 2/10/2009 |
