Mekonnen Jarso That is a very good description of the historical processes of making Ethiopia and its Millennium. I think such deliberations should continue by all means. Be it good or bad that is the history of this country and we all have to accept it as it is. No country has ever been formed with out inflicting some damage to some groups of that country. One undenniable truth to take in is a country's fate is largely determined by what is than what was. Ethiopia, or what ever other name we may choose for it, has been formed and has assumed the present form in every respect. The important thing now is to sit together, look thoroughly into our country's problems, find out their causes and put remedies to these causes. We all are responsible at present to take part in this agenda for the betterment of our future generations. Celebrating millennium is nothing more than an occassion that creates such an opportunity to think and act together. Therefore I appereciate the indulgence of Dr. Mohammad and I suggest to him that he be a helpng hand as well in turning around the present harsh poverty conditions of our country. 9/20/2007

Barkeessaa. Thank you very much Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shamsaddin Megalommatis for the historical account you continue to give us on the name Ethiopia and what took place in the current Ethiopia and what the Abbysinians did and are doing to the peoples living in it. The Abbysinians do not like the way you present the historical facts, because you tell them what their predecessors did to the different peoples in the current Ethiopia and what they continue to do. On the other hand, the oppressed nations like the Oromos like to hear more about the true history of the Empire State of Ethiopia. Please continue with presenting the facts; even the Abbysinians will learn a thing or two from it.
