| Greg P. | We did all of the above ab exercises at USMC - OCS at Quantico, Va . Every morning for thirteen weeks we did these ab exercises as a Drill Instructor "motivated" us to keep our feet off the ground. When I graduated from OCS I had a 29 inch waist. Forty years later I have a 34 inch waist. I will start thist ab routine tomorrow. MY GOAL, 62 years old with a 29 inch waist! | 12/29/2010 |

| Raj | i have developed lower back pain doing the leg raises, but i did it by holding a bar over my head. but doing it by keeping hands below the but is very effective. Without doubt, lower abs is a very difficult part of the body to keep in shape. Can you tell me whether leg raises leads to some other problems. i have started doing it a lot, i do around 40/set, 3 sets. |

| SarahJB | This is awesome! I can DO all these exercises. I can't wait to go back to the gym and try these out tomorrow. | 3/28/2009 |
| Candy J | Sounds good! I just started doing some of these excercises. Another good one, is having your legs straight in the air ( a 90 degree angle wit your torso), your feet parallel to your body. From here you lift your legs using your lower abs and lower back towards the ceiling, and back down, for about 15 reps. It's real good and hard to do. You really feel it in your lower abs when you do it! :) Thanks for the tips! | 2/18/2009 |
| wanderlei | Thanks for the low ab exercises rita! | 11/15/2008 |

| Rita | Dear Leon, as I have explained in the article, the lower back has to be supported with the hands under the lower back in order to prevent lower back problems. When the exercise is done slowly, and with support under the back, it is safe and effective. In fact, I have actually cured my own lower back ache doing this exercise, along with other back strengthening exercises. | 9/2/2007 |
| leon | Dear Rita,i am really surprised to see that you have recommended a workout which is completely out of the fitness industry for the last couple of decades.Double leg lift is considered hazardous for low back as it gives pressure to the back and researchs have found that double leg lift can lead to hernia in men..Please dont publish such blunders ,which u claim as latest in low ab workout..... | 9/2/2007 |
