Scott Simonson Hi claudia. You seemed to have painted yourself into a corner. If all have sinned and the only way to go to heaven is to accept Jesus, then what happens to children and babies when they die? they can'y accept Jesus, thus they can't go to heaven -- they deserve to go to hell. 9/16/2007
Jerry Hastings Yes that is correct about sins, but did you ever stop and think about the sins we commit everyday? When a person lets another person aggrevate them enough to sware under your breath or think bad things toward that other person, that is breaking Jesus' commandment to love thy neighbor. If a person is at a large store like WalMart and he fails to say excuse me or runs ahead of others at the checkout or has complete disregard of others around him, he too is breaking Jesus' commandment. Driving one's auto in traffic is another place where almost everyone breaks the commandment, driving in disregard for others ahead or behind, excessive speed or excessively going too slow that hampers others, not yielding at stop or yield signs, cutting others off and many more disrespectful acts. The statement that all have sinned is very very true because daily I find myself breaking that one commandment even when I am alone for the whole day. I let something on TV or my computer aggrevate me into breaking the commandment or maybe it's some home related thing that does not operate right that will make you think something bad about the manufacturer or salesman. You might not be directly effecting that person but Jesus covered that base in his description of adultry, your thoughts make the difference! 8/19/2007
