sheila scott Stress levels are rising due to rude behavior with cell phones. I for one, have stopped having dinner out with friends due to every converstation being interrupted by their cell phones.
I gave up trying to understand why someone needs to be constantly looking at their phone just in case they have missed a call.
What is wrong with disconnecting for an hour or so? Is it an addiction? I really would like to know .

marshe lynn Cell phones should be banned in all public places. It is not taking away anyone right to speech either. They have a right to talk and talk as much as they want to in an approriate place as not to annoy others. All partons of public places have a right not to be annoyed by yammers on cell phones.
Or maybe in the case of restaurants, all cell phone users who do not want to turn them off, should be seated in the same area as smokers. Can't you just see it?
