| Ryan | I've got Kennedy's back. I like what he said. As a white dude, I was a victim of affirmative action in the UC system in 1999. Segregating based on race, even for an altruistic reason, is wrong and will only serve to embitter those being segregated against. Affirmative Action has only served to deepen racial lines in California since the early 1990s. In the 70s, when it was needed, it was OK but quickly became obsolete. | 6/29/2007 |
