Stacey Well i ordered the solia 1 1/4 inch about a year ago, and it finally give out on me so i ordered the exact same one again only to find out they changed the iron. Its plates are not as wide and the structure has also changed. It no longer comes with those grips, and it dont come with a safety pug any more. It also pulls your hair and doesn't straighten your hair as good as the old model. Im very upset about the new design, i think im going to try out the sedu instead. 4/6/2008

SF I have been trying to decide on either a Sedu or Solia hair straightener but wasn't sure which one. I have been looking all over the Internet for a good review but was only able to find consumer opinions which didn't really help me compare the 2.
