Hi I am doing a debate with some of my fellow Employees and i am on the pros and was wondering if you can help before friday? i am hoping i can help as well as look for this young child who has inspired me to help others feel safe. even though i do not agree i am trying to help out this debate. do you recognize a webcite on pros or cons for this article. i hope you find it easy that i am ashamed at this justice system and maybe we can provide a way for young ones to be in sight of thier parents. |

Hi Jeanne and thank you for your comments on my article. I would like to say Jeanne that I too am catholic and I am afraid that the content in my message from Madeleine may have been misleading. (Sorry) So I would like to correct myself. Mummy it is because I know there is a god in heaven - that I know I will be seeing you soon. |

Madeleine Mcann's abduction was a very unfortunate thing, and I think that it is positively awful. Her family is being so strong, and God Bless Gerry and Kate!! While there are many different and mixed emotions, we must NOT blame the poor parents for their actions. What had they to fear? How could they have known? Yes, it was a bad mistake, but now the parents have to live with this agony. So please, everyone, STOP discussing it on forms at Yahoo and other blogs. Everyone is putting their opinions up for all to read, not really thinking about the parent's pain. No one, until they have experienced a child's disappearence, knows the pain, fear, shock, and utter despair of a lost child, whether it be for 15 minutes or a few hours, or even a few days. It is cruel to comment and speculate, like many are doing on the web. We must keep searching, praying, and getting the word out there, and keep our thoughts to ourselves. That is my message to the people on the web chatting about these things. While I liked this article, it made me sad again, for the parents, the family, Maddie's brother and sister, and little Madeleine herself. I personally know their pain--and it is a pain that no one wants to experience. May God give them strength, and may the abductor doing this horrible thing to Madeleine some day give her back. This article summed up all of my feelings, and was exactly correct in its staments. However! I could not believe what was written in the message "from Madeleine". "If there is a god up in heaven mummy then I know am coming home." IF?? IF there is a "god" in heaven? What a horrible thing to write! A little child, so agnostic? That is positively ridiculous. The Mcann's are devot Catholics, and their true faith, which so few have, is helping them in this dreadful time. "If there is a god up in heaven" is simply blasphemy to their beliefs, and is maddening to see in an article that is supposedly portraying Maddie's message. Yes, Madeleine, there IS a God in Heaven, although the digs on that and catholism never seem to stop.
GOD BLESS THE MCCANS AND MAY MADELEINE RETURN HOME SOON, PLEASE GOD! |
