Netizen While it's commendable that the Vatican is recognizing the importance of clean renewable energy, they need to go a step further to the real cause of the climate change crisis.

If the Pope and the many Christian followers would realize that human overpopulation is the real issue straining the planet's energy and food resources, then they'd be acheiving something meaningful.

Charmaine Tan I feel that as technology advances, we ought to have new inventions such as the solar energy installation in Vatican. This will enable people to save electricity and therefore, money as the electricity utility bill has gone down. I feel that we should all learn to conserve and protect the environment from being 'stripped' of its natural resources and therefore we should all make an effort to conserve electricity. Ultimately, it is us who will benefit from it. 6/6/2007
