The most famous book the Earth has come to know is the Bible. Translated in most languages of our planet this book amazes trough historical and scientifically proven accuracy.

The scientific evidence provided in this article to support the Bible, was well documented a few thousand years before by the Sumerian civilisation. This was nothing new! Much of the Bible originated from Sumerian scripts and much of todays Bible, after being 'revised' countless times, has been completely misinterpreted and manipulated. Much of the rest of the bible is mythology with no evidence to back it whatsoever. |

It would be senseless to make up Jesus the person, it could be easily proven that he did not exist if he didn't, so the fact that Jesus was in fact real is by no means a convincing arguement for the Bible to be true. The fact of the matter is that supernatural abilities such as walking on water are mythical and can not be done. If you'd like to test the true power of God why not ask him to regrow someones arm of leg that they have lost, something simply impossible, rather than ask him to cure another ailment that is cureable by human means. I do not blame the desperate people who wrote the stories of the Bible, as you yourself said there were over 300 prophecies saying it was going to happen, and if they didn't...
Besides, even if God, angels, the Devil etc are all true, then you have to say all the historical evidence proving the existance of the prophet Muhammad and his great divinity is all lies, and that the arch angel Gabriel did NOT visit him and tell him that jesus was not the son of God. Why believe one ancient factual story and not another ancient factual story? |

I think the Bible is a literary story not intended to be truth. Those that favor Revelations and want to run our government on that chapter are nuttier than a fruit cake. McCain president wanna be is one of those nut jobs! He might make it too if Bush can rig the election like his. |
