My Dog has had a runny stool for about a month now, he is approx. 1yr old. I put him on a fish and sweet potato food diet (blue chip) and still this problem continues. I was thinking maybe he has worms or something. he has a healthy appetite and is always drinking water. don't know what to do... |

I am the owner of a miniature daschund. Duke is soon to be 12 in July. He was diagnosed about one year age with "cushions disease". He takes a medication once daily for that. Just before Christmas he was diagnosed with diabetes and is on a low dose insulin injection twice daily now. He has cataracts and on some days he appears to be completely blind. About 4-5 months ago he starting experiencing lots of problems with his bowels. He started experiencing bouts of diareah and there was bright red blood in the runny stools. His vet did x-rays and saw no masses. She did blood work and said it was all good. His heart rate is perfect! I don' t understand it! If this were a human they would have an explanation. Nobody will convince me that he does not have something serious going on. Help! Any suggestions?
Oh...and he now is taking 4-different meds for his bowel episodes!

my dog is old and tonight she was walking in the room after drinking some water angd she droped to the floor and could not move, her hands curld in and she got stiff fore about 3 sec . i dont know what wrong with her . shes very shaken up. what cpuld be wrong? is it a stroke she was starting to have? |

my dog isent doing so well shes listless depressed has frequent vomiting and diahreah and suddenly it doesent look like she can controll when she poops any more imean shes house trained but now shes poopin all over the place and the other day she missed the jump to the couch something she never does shes pretty reluctent to use her hind legs does any one know whats up?

Have been to a Doc, I have a Sibean Husky, He knows when you put medicine in some of his food,Has Fever, Sniffles,He paws is noses,

Our sixteen year old cocker spaniel has become disoriented of late while in the backyard. Three evenings ago she began walking in a wide circle, disoriented and stumbling. Yesterday and then again today she did it, only earlier when it was still quite light out and the circles became smaller and smaller, in an almost spinning motion and today was crying out. In each case she has stopped when we lead her out of it and bring her on the porch on in the house. She also seems to be more and more reluctant to come inside the house, which is unusual for her. |
