R.W Its good information if you are just beginning to take tennis lessons/classes. Its the basics, can't anything better than that. it would be better if there were diagrams of a tennis court and if info was broken down to make a little more sense. Also info about how to hold a racket. 8/31/2009

Bob R You have the length of the tennis racquet incorrect. It is not 32 inches, but varies from about 25 inches for Juniors to 27 1/2 inches for adults. 2/29/2008

Jim Neale I want to know if a ball may be volleyed when it is over the net. The rule that covers this states that the ball cannot be played until it passes the net. I interpret this to mean that the entire ball must pass the net before it can be volleyed. So if that is right, a ball over the net may not be played. Does anyone know what is right about this? Thanks in advance for replying.
