| titan | First and foremost, do a background check on the organizers of the pageants. I know for certain, some organizers are felons. Pageants are money makers and thrive on parents. You spend a great deal of money on everything but one, background checks. Con artists are very good at pageants and no one ever checks them thoroughly. They make a fortune on pageants. Be wise. Be certain of whom you are dealing. Do not enter just any old pageant. Know who your children are being influenced by and what their motives are towards your children. For one thing I have NEVER found a pageant that doesnt charge an entrance fee. Miss USA, Miss America, and many many other pageant systems require a fee. The fee may pay for hotel, meals, and cover the costs of putting on the pageant. I apologize if this has already been mentioned because I am not sure exactly when this was written. |
