uniforms make people spend more because you have to pay for school uniforms and for casual clothing too! to enough of this garbage about it SAVES money it DOESN'T! and if making everyone look the same makes students learn more effectively, why not have teachers wear uniforms? or the public all be mindless look-alikes to increase productivity? and if uniforms make better people why the heck to people in jail keep making a ruckus and soldiers still go AWOL? the whole enforcement of uniforms is ridiculous. people who bother inforcing them are either idiots or having nothing better to do with their time and choose to waste it on torturing unfortunate students and hiding behind false reasoning. |

Seriously, why is everyone against school uniforms... they help people become more accepted across cliquesand stuff. I know a girl who rides horses every day, and is the full on tom boy type, but she gets accepted into every single crowd, even though she usually wouldn't, just because they never see her in her ugly clothes... the ones she'd normally wear.
Plus our school has fundraisers when you wear normal stuff, you bring a gold coin for ur casual stuff and we raise thousands of $$$ for charity cause everyone does it.
It means that u always know what you wear and the school looks neat and tidy.
Just because ur school has a gay uniform doesn't mean that all schools do, poor kids with pink but thats there prob not urs, they should go to a different school if their sensitive. |

Josh: I wonder why those two little girls have their heads shaved.
Rebecca: Which two?
Josh: The two little girls sitting there. . . the ones in the pink school uniform.
Rebecca: Hmmm, maybe they had head lice or something.
Josh: Yeah, probably.
(Pause in conversation as we arrive at the bus stop.) Josh: Uh. . .wait a sec. Are those girls or boys?
Rebecca: I dont' know! I was just thinking the same thing. They sure look like boys, but the pink gingham is throwing me off.
Josh: They've gotta be girls. No one would let a boy wear that.
Rebecca: Yeah, I've seen some nasty school uniforms, like that Muslim school down the street with the pale purple and teal. But pink gingham with a big ruffled collar? It's gotta be a girl's kindergarten.
Josh: Yeah. It's gotta be.
Rebecca: I'm sure they just had lice or something.
Josh: Yeah, head lice or cancer or something.
(Pause)
Josh: I don't know. They really look like boys.
Rebecca: Yeah, they do, but it's hard to tell with their heads shaved. They'd probably look like girls if they had hair.
(The bus approaches. The two kindergarten students and their mother line up to board the bus. We line up behind them.)
Mother: C'mon boys. Get on the bus.

About number 3., you still have to buy clothes for weekends, but you won't need to buy as much as you would if you wore casual clothing for weekends. Also, mostly you just buy one or two pairs of uniforms, and that probably won't be more expensive than spending money on regular clothing. |
