im a girl and i think its REALLY cool to skateboard im 11 years old and i wanna learn to skateboard so bad.i tried to on my causins skateboard but instead i fell and hit my head on the concreet well atleast i was wearing a helmet wich got scrapped now its awfully UGLY! ugh! well bye! and thanks for the tips! |

I literally JUST BOUGHT my first skateboard today and tomorrow morning will be my first time ever attempting to ride one. I'm 26, so I know all the 16 year old pro's are gonna be laughing! Haha. I totally love the freedom I see in skateboarding though and my admiration grows even larger in astonishment when I watch pro skaters on television. Thanks for the introduction, it was very helpfull. I was wondering though: do you have any suggestions as to WHERE a beginner might want to start skating? How do skaters manage to ride down a sidewalk curb, onto the street and up the next curb? Sorry for the stupid questions, but as I mentioned, I've NEVER skated in my life. |

thanks I needed to know this thanks again because I didnt know that right foot foward was goofey I use my left foot foward on my scooter and I am wobbly with my left foot so that should be the same with a skateboard. Thats good to know. PEACE |
