Alicia my son is i year old and his father cuts his hair with a shaving machine. as to this he always ends up with punches scrapes and burns on his head even bumps. he had scrapes from the shaving machine and the razor. i have the pictures. the father told me he had to hold him down and due to that the child recieved a scrapes on his left hand and on his right foot. he is also cutting the childs hair while the child has a very bad cold. 9/2/2011

Patricia Fox I would like to know about the abuse in schools. My son is picked on and goaded into having a reaction that he can be punished for, either with demerits, sent to the office, thrown off the bus, or missing playtime, free Friday, etc. I was told to contact someone about Human Rights violations by someone in the school because they see this go on with my son everyday. The other day, I got a slip home that said that he was getting 3 demerits because he looked at her (not a smile) was on the paper! 4/1/2011

NANA PETER Child Abuse is rampant in all parts of the world. Here is some more information on the types of Child Abuse.

While many crimes are easily discovered and reported, there are some which may never see the light of the day. Child abuse is one such crime which is rarely noticed and seldom reported.

Child abuse is quite simply neglect by parents for their children. Maltreatment is also termed as child abuse. Child abuse may be sexual, physical or emotional in nature. Depending on various factors and situations, child abuse mars a child for life and may impede their progress and lifestyle.

Other than these kinds, child abuse can also come out of mere neglect of the various needs of children as they grow up. A child may not have the amenities and/or toys that their friends have. This kind of child abuse has a intense impact on the child, as the child may grow up to be anything from an introvert to a person at war with the entire society for no particular reason.Almost eighty percent of persons having experienced child abuse are at the risk of developing severe psychiatric problems. A majority of these children also face trauma and other disorder like the reactive attachment disorder. Some children may also face depression and anxiety.		 6/12/2010

Katelin well where is the emotional and mental abuse. its by far more importana to surviving victims of abuse. this effects kids more when they are grown. i dont see very much on emotional and mental abuse. i think someone should look into it. 3/14/2008

Alexxx i think that child abuse is getting out of hand! i think cops should just go and make sure that kids and even anyone can get abuse. i think that if kids are always said there grades are dropping then that should be a sign. i also think if there is bursues and marks on the child then that is a sign to 2/12/2008
