Ashley the greenhouse effect can be very bad because it pollutes the Earth's atmosphere and it will destroy the ozone layer that protects us. I personally believe that if we keep doind the things we do, using heavily polluting factories, then we could end up making many more species of animals go extinct and we might just end up killing ourselves as well. I am not saying, "let's go tear down all factories! lets throw ourselves back into the 1800s!" No, but we need to let up on the manufactoring unless we want to be cooked like chickens in the future! 11/1/2007

Farmer John global warming due to man is a false concept-the amount of co2 is a minute part of the atmosphere-we are in a climate change cycle caused by the sun and we cannot do a thing about it other than al gore feel good things-stop being led around so easily! 10/10/2007

islamsariot Nothing new here in this laboured piece, and some of it it way out of date, C.F.C.s for instance, they were banned long ago for destroying the ozone layer. He needs to brush up his research and cut down on his use of hyphens (esp. di-oxide) and learn not to use possessive apostrophes with pronouns, it destroys credibility. 10/5/2007
