Frederik I do not think that Germany is of much interest to native English speakers.
Germany has an extremely bad reputation in all English speaking countries and so I think for British, Americans, Australians there are countries which are much more attractive and interesting.
And the biggest and insurmountable problem for all native English speakers that is the strange German language.
So Germany will be since ever interesting only for a very small minority of foreign people in the English speaking world.
And German culture is usually reduced on WW II so that nobody in the world will ever take notice that there is any German culture.
Germany is not attractive to the rest of the world and Germans are mostly disliked in the English speaking countries.
And Germany is fortunately also not an important country on the world's stage.
As less as the rest of the world takes notice of Germany, the better it is for Germany and the Germans.		 6/25/2010
