Dynasty I think Bill Cosby is a wonderful role model who speaks from the heart and the mind. He is right on with the parenting and family promoting. I wish he could come to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and help promote a program I work with, Encouraging Family Foundations. It is a wonderful free program for unmarried couples (17 & above) who are expecting a baby. We call it a Healthy Relationship Co-Parenting Training. It provides them with the tools and ideas of building a strong foundation for their child. We try to kick the barriers of couples coming by assisting with transportation and /or child care if needed. We feed them lunch and give out little incentives each time they come. They also receive Meijer gift cards just for attending. You would think we would have full sessions. However, this is not the case. In fact, the federal government is thinking about taking away this grant if we can not receive better participation. This frustrates me as I know it is a great program and many couples could benefit from it. I would love for Bill Cosby to come to our area to speak how important parenting and family structure is important, especially in today's society. 1/20/2011

Johnny Ashton Well I think that Bill Cosby was a decent man, who knew what was right and what was wrong. He suffered a tragic lose of his 1 and only son, but he still didn't give up his comedian career. That shows that Bill Cosby has a lot heart for his fans, and is a brave man to continue on his career. Marcella I am celebrating my 57th birthday today July 11. I do not like hypocrites. I am not really calling Cosby a hypocrite . He however ignored my children's book submitted to him and his wife as simply a donation. Of course he did not send it back ,so Marcella be thankful.
He talk about the challenge of ones own ideas ,our children's ignorance being the parent's negligence. I do not have alphabets behind my name but I have authored 3 books. The books may not carry the clarity or the famous name that Cosby has , it would be really nice it he really cared about our children ,to promote the work of those that try to do literature for our children. I do not mean money , I mean promotion. Some folk that want to give back to the community will not get a phone call from those that think they are better than those that do not carry a celebrity background.		 7/11/2007
