can someone please give me some inspiration. in the past two years i have written over 200 poems. poetry comes naturally to me and i write one in about two minutes. its not ALL i do. at all. i do it when i need to express myself. but lately i have come short of inspiration and i need something to spark and idea. ! help please ! after christmas when i get my new camera i will start more photography and then write poems about each picture. does that sound like a good idea? people say i am very talented and artsy but i sometimes feel so stupid. |

Good. This site helped alot. I was able to learn the differences from different peoms. Its gave me alot more to look forward to in the line of education. One question though... In the mix of all this music can me poetic in some cases so would Pop be considered poetic and if so why ? |

Looking up you see a shower head. Laying in the bathtub. Thinking. Pondering. Wondering. Jesus. God. The walk with him. Is there really a light? A stairway to heaven? An angel that greets you? A gate? A line? You go under. Curiosity. Hold your breath. You can't. Up. Breathe. Deep. Inhale. Exhale. Blurry. A light. Heaven? The bathroom?

Each scrape, a little dirtier. Sand. Soil. Mud. Each cut, a little deeper. Blood. Blue to red. Each bruise, a little darker. Brown. Red. Black. Blue. Each burn, a little hotter. Warm. Hot. Fire. And then, pieces. A puzzle. In need of gle. Inn need of you. Each scar, a memory. A burn. A bruise. A cut. A scrape. A puzzle. Mended. Loved.

She, whom is barren of love. She, whom loves to love and gives to give. She, whom accepts no gifts and gives thanks. She, whom wears tattered cloths and worn shoes. She, whom eats scraps and is an utterly unhealthy skinny. She, whom is in danger and doesn't know well enough to understand. She, whom never begs nor asks of a favor. She, whom is still barren of love, is the loveliest creature. She, whom loves to love needs love. She, whom wears tattered clothes and worn shoes shall wear the finest of silk. She, whom eats scraps and is an utterly unhealthy skinny shall dine with the queen. She, whom gives thanks will continue just this. She, whom never begs nor asks of a favor will be granted courage. She, whom is in danger and doesn't know well enough to understand shall be introduced to quidance and safely. She, whom is now cared for. She, whom is now loved. She, whom is now the most gorgeous woman in the universe, we are all our own, that is just she.

Last week they got into a fight
just last week nothing felt right
so she sit on the steps alone at recess
replying the memories of the past in her mind
she watches her old friend play truth or dare in the group
she was in
remembering all the fun they had
breaking the rules, staying up late, sneaking out
and laughing all the time
she hears girls laughing and changes her train of thought
when she looks up she sees her old friend start walking up to her
She would tell herself to act cool
so she sits up, crosses her arm and looks straight ahead
she changes her expression and becomes very confident
her friend comes up and says hi
and with a reply she says what!?
Her old friend notices that she shouldn’t have gotten the courage to
talk to her after what happened
As the school bell rang they all ran outside and once again she was alone
when she turns to leave she sees her friend again
but this tie she was smoking
but she couldn't go stop her so she turned around and walked straight home
Last week she went to the councilor
Just last week she told someone
she said how she was worried and how she didn’t want anything to happen to her.
As the tear streamed down her face she realized
that people in this world also have problem
and don’t know how to deal with it
so she goes to the girls house to apologize
and when she rings the door bell
she can feel her cheeks get red with despair
a lady answer the door crying
she asks what’s wrong
and the lady explains
That now the girl who she fought with
the girl who used to be her best friend
is now in the hospital
and has been diagnosed with cancer
She feels her face get warm and her eyes water
she cant hid her feelings anymore
The next morning she questions if she should go to the hospital
but finally gets the confidence
When she gets there she finds a empty bed
and a sympathy |

NIGHTMARE
It was a dark and eerie night. Desony and her racing heart pushed farther and farther. The house was in sigh, the nightmare was close on her frozen, raw bare feet. Now she wished she was equipped with the correct utensils, perhaps a jet pack to speed up. As she got closer and closer to her protect house it grew smaller. She looked back. The nightmare was almost a completely black mist with a face that speaks for it’s self. Desony really didn’t even know if it technically was in existence. All she knew is she had to escape the dreadful claw-like mist fingers. She tried to exaggerate the pain so a small flicker of hope would form and the nightmare would feel bad and give up. But no that awful critter caught up and actually told her "excellent running" before swallowing her up. When morning came Desony never woke.
