Kathy Wow. I am amazed at the truth in this depiction/description of pd's...it's provided much insight. Because of a relationship with a narcissist, this has become a daily read for me. An affirmation so to speak.

This has been informative regarding my role in this 'relationship' as well as 'the beast's' trap and play.

Bev I think this is a very important part of exploring the impact that psychopaths have. The psychological gymnastics that they are capable of have a huge impact on survivors of this abuse. As one of these and neither a masochist or little mary sunshine, I wish that someone could really look into this. Of course there is post traumatic stress but this is really a catch all.

It is as if the psychopath is endlessly fascinating and the victim is a trivial card-board character.
