I recently had sever episode with the muscles in my legs and hands pulling or tightening waking me from my sleep. The pain was so bad! I tried to walk it off, but it was hurting so bad I woke up my husband and he started rubbing my legs, but the pain would not go away. I felt as though my whole body was trembling and it was like I was in a ore, my heart was beating fast and I was sweating alot, I ask my husband to get me some cold water to drink. This actually helped and the cramps went away. My legs were extremely sore for the next few days. Does this sound like low potassium? |

I am currently taking three K-Dur tablets per day. My potassium reading is 3.6. My doctor instructed me to eat potassium rich foods in an effort to reduce the amount of supplementation. I have tried this especially eating bananas and broccoli. The bllod test reveals a reading as aforementioned. Just wondering if anyone out there could give me some good advice. ThaNKS. |
