You would think doctors would be exempt from thinking it funny for a man to have a yeast infection...but they are not...I have been to a female doctor and a male doctor and the humor was noticeable...I have not had contact with anyone for years...except public toilets... |

Well I tried to send a comment but it seems that no matter how I word it you find inappropriate/banned characters to stop it...as I do not use these types of words I guess I have to ask if you ever get comments? |

Good article. Just the way it all works. Most men won't necessarily pick it up from a woman unless they are "ripe" to get it. I learned more about it by reading a page on a site called Candidasupport dot org where they have a "male yeast infection" page. |

Treatment: Buy some oil of Oregano (from a Vitamin Store like The Vitamin Shoppe) and some liquid body wash. add a full dropper of the oil of Oregano to the whole bottle of body wash. Wash penis with this everyday until the infection is gone. Continue to do this as a form of prevention |

Memory loss from yeast infection? More like your wife asks where you got the infection and the crabs from, and you say "I don't remember". |

Although possible you don't have to have sex to acquire a yeast infection. But you can treat a yeast infection with a OTC Limostat jock itch cream.
Cleanliness is an important part of the treatment so wash the whole genitals with warm/hot none purfumed soapy water (perfumed soaps may burn!) Apply twice a day all over the genitals and under the foreskin.
After 10 days you should be ok so if its still present seek profesional help, Also drink a glass of cranberry juice a day......
Also drink a glass of Cranberry juice a day it helps cleans out the system and prevents these nasty little things reoccuring...
PS: for those who claim the red swollen testis are a permanent red... due to past infections... the above will also rectify your problem... although it may take 10 days to work.....

I don't have a comment, just a few questions. I've had 3 yeast infections in the past few months and this time there is a bad pain in the lower part of my stomach/abdomen, is that one of the symtoms? Is that pain because of the yeast infection?
The other thing is that I had sex with my husband while I had a yeast infection but before I figured out what is was. I was wondering if he could possibly have it and can be the carrier and thats why I'm having so many. Can he be the carrier and not have any symtoms?
If anyone knows anything about this, can you plase e-mail me and let me know. Thank You

Yeast infection in men is uncommon and the few who get it are unfortunate. There are few sources that talk about this ailment and most men affected by penile yeast infection are left clueless, especially if the drugs stop working. There is one such resource, although fairly new and its called yeastmen. Hope this helps anyone who is in need of more information! |
