Just a few interesting Facts about Hisal Hisal helped in the discovery of the helical structure of DNA. This discovery was noted at the Cavendish Laboratory, which was at the University of Cambridge. The first photocopying machine was created in the 1950’s but it wasn’t until Hisal used to for communication that scientist started to take the popularity of this machine seriously and helped spread the interworking of it all over. We all know that Beatniks, Geeks, Zombies and teenagers rebel against the social norms. It may also be noted that this movement to ‘humanize’ Hiasl was considered to give way to much power to that deadbeat society of the ‘cool hippie’ culture. After the first breaking news about Hiasl’s court hearing the ESB (Electrical Supply Board) brought electricity to that rural area around town and it hasn’t been the same since. These electric Poles were erected in people’s yards, driveways and house tops so the power supply could reach their TV cameras. I think Edmund Hillary said it best, while hiking along with his Sherpa mountaineer ‘Tenzing Norgay’ as they scaled Mount Everest looking to be the first duo to reach the summit back in 53’, if the Gods wanted to make Apes into humans then have them live in harmony amongst us humans, he would have given them an understandable langue, by God! Among the various genres of music, Rock-and-Rolla became hugely popular to the 1950’s hip crowd. Many teen idols, mostly those during this time was Elvis Presley, were quite fond of the mountain Gorilla and did their best to keep them safe and comfortable using the proceeds from their unique blends of Country and Blues music. Let’s try remember the day the music died and say a silent prayer for Hiasl, the poor mountain Gorilla of ‘our time in history’ Kent Stinger |

The Worlds first Vaccine helps prevent HIV infection. The director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (Doctor Anthony Fauci) says: this is "not the end of the road," BUT said he is surprised and very pleased by the outcome! For the first time, an experimental vaccine has prevented infection with the AIDS virus, a watershed event in the deadly epidemic and a surprising result. Recent failures led many scientists to think such a vaccine might never be possible. The World Health Organization and the U.N. agency UNAIDS said the results "instilled new hope" in the field of HIV vaccine research. The vaccine — a combination of two previously unsuccessful vaccines — cut the risk of becoming infected with HIV by more than 31 percent in the world's largest AIDS vaccine trial of more than 16,000 volunteers in Thailand, researchers announced Thursday in Bangkok. Even though the benefit is modest, "it's the first evidence that we could have a safe and effective preventive vaccine," Col. Jerome Kim told The Associated Press. He helped lead the study for the U.S. Army, which sponsored it with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. It gives me cautious optimism about the possibility of improving this result" and developing a more effective AIDS vaccine, Fauci said. "This is something that we can do." How all this effects poor Hiasl no one knows, but I believe the would be pleased with this news. |

Well said Roberto'. I know Hias would be so happy is he know that thos pesky bills were taken care of. I can feel the hearts of Lil' Audrey and her Mom swelling up with sympathy for this poor "MALE" Ape. He's too stoopid to have amassed the funds necessary for an adequate defense. No he's looking at the possibility of APPEAL the likes of which only an Ape could understand. Not regular court shenanigans mind you, but real Apey at'cha appeals this time and he really means it. Bob Dylan has agrees to write a protest song we can all sing outside of the Courthouse this time. We'll have the surviving members of the folk group "Storm" to help get us all in the singing mood. It'll be like a grand old 1960s type hearing of US against THEM! It's to be filmed in B/W for the documentary and darn it it's just too bad Truman Capote is dead cause he'd be real good at writing a story about all this for the New York Times. We3 all know how much they like stories like this. Oh yeah, before I forget. I heard a joke from this Chimp fella I met down at the pub last week. It was about Penguins. Not the homosexual ones, but just regular South Pole kinds. This Penguin has Car trouble and stops to get it taken care of. While it's getting fixed he decides to get an Ice Cream cone from over at the sweet shop round the corner. While he's sitting there eating his cone the Mechanic who was working on his Car comes in and says to him, "Hey, it looks like you blew a seal" and the Penguin says "Nah, it's just a little ice cream, but how's ma car?" |

I know that mental exercise is intended to get everyone in the mood for the bad news. At their first news conference of the morning he probably sounded optimistic with little squeaks and hoots. And to kick off their morning court session they would do a little meditation together. Some of his fans included a former astronaut and the goodwill ambassador to the UK. Hiasl was seen jumping, skipping and playing dress-up with the bailiff, but after the court ruled against him his mood changed drastically. The audio excerpt of Hiasl’s trail sounded like this "You're rising higher and higher," intoned his attorney. "You're going out through the top of the research building’s roof. Now you can see the lights of Washington D.C. and everyone loves you. You will soon be released into the streets of that great city. While some cheesy new age music plays in the background. "Now you're floating, you're floating in a kind of space void like the Star Child from 2001: A Space Odyssey," The Earth is below you, and it's amazing and it's incredible, just blues and greens and whites. Some of the people in the assembled crowd kept their heads bowed and their eyes closed hoping and praying for justice, but fearing none would come. Then his attorney told him about the court’s decision not to grant human status. "Hiasl, the jury was behind you, but sadly the courts were not. They have decided to keep your status as Ape, not human, and to compound your problems even farther they decided to return you to the Lab as soon as possible for further testing the minute this trail is over. They said Hiasl never looking up from the cold marble floor as they led him away to the waiting cargo bus bound for the Labs from wince he came.
This sad and somewhat tragic story could be Hiasl’s last final gasp for freedom. Won’t you help by sending your tax deductible donations to Hiasl’s defense fund? Audrey,
Your mother must be Bonobo. How else could she be smart enough to understand whats running thought that female brain of yours. One thing you overlooked is that Hiasl is a male Great Ape and as such has the same characteristics thought to be uniquely human (man); self-awareness, abstract thought, mind reading, and culture (Arts, Literature, Theater, etc). As a matter of fact Hiasl is Viennese, so it's obvious he has culture coming out of his wazoo. Also note that a typical Great Ape has hands the size of Catchers Mitts. That would have to be one BIG coconut to pull off that little "treat" trick of yours. All that brute need do is smash the you know what out of the coconut to get to the sweet treat...which is of course the coconut itself. Who's stupid now ?
Women with problem solving skills ? Maybe we should perform another clever trick like putting lipstick on a little girl's forehead to see if she's capable of having the ability to "makeup" her mind. I think not. The other day during dinner I asked my wife to select her favorite wine and all she could say was "I want to go to Miami"... geez. Hey, I got one for ya: What do woman and turtles have in common? They both get f *ck'd when they're on their backs...Dam(n) I need a treat.
Food for thought, Rico |

What ever happen to ‘just let go’? I have a very clever trap to see if Hiasl is a human or a monkey. We could hollow out a coconut and put a sweet treat in it, then make a hole at the bottom of the coconut just big enough for Hiasl to slide its hand in. When Hiasl grabs the treat inside, the hole isn’t big enough for him to withdraw his hand while still holding the treat. A monkey would be caught, but a human would just ‘let go’ of the treat then shake the coconut around until the sweet treat fell out of the hole. This test will determine if Hiasl’s only focus is the treat and not his freedom. If he opens his hand and withdraws he is Human and must be let out of the cage, if not he is Ape and should be forced live in his cage forever. This is a simple trick really, even a little boy could conceive of this test to see if he was 'man or Ape'. My mother sent me a link to this article, all the while laughing about the comments the men were making. Not surprisingly it was a woman who had a clear understanding of the problem and thought of a clever yet simple solution to resolve this complex issue. Audrey Vasari |

It has been said many times in the past ‘when pigs fly’. Who knows if they don’t? It is supposedly scientifically proven that pigs cannot fly, but what if they can? How would we know? With all of our interfering into the pig’s business, we still don’t know for sure. Yet we know they taste delicious & yummy in the tummy. If pigs were meant to fly they would have grown wings you say? I fly but don’t have wings. You probably have flown in the past; I bet you don’t have wings. Let’s agree to disagree on all of this monkey business, shall we? I’m for the promoted health benefits of using a very substantial amount of antioxidants in our drinking water. The reduced formation of free radicals leaving in this great country of ours though the presence of bromine could render itself toxic to other animals if we don’t stop them here and now. If we can agree to eat leafy green vegetables but not grant Hiasl his human dignity then we should agree to release Hiasl into the wild lands of Northern California. Someplace near the ocean. I bet he would love to be near the ocean at this time of the year. Betty Wilson, Haight-Ashbury San Francisco California |

I feel like I could just die from sadness. That is just how I feel right now knowing Hiasl will never run, jump skip & play just like the other kids are doing at the park. Because he was born with a stigma (ape). He might never know the joys a little human baby will. This poor little Ape (kid) I think it’s so sad to read some of these comments seeming to mock or rankel Hiasl. Sad, he can’t help where Miss Universe put him the day he was born. Human, Ape I can’t tell the difference, can you? I hope some of my sad street Poetry can change some of you minds. Maybe calm some of your anger and help ease the mental anguish Hiasl feels right now. *Hiasl no savage beast Do you want the real thing, or are you just talking'? Don’t you understand? I'm your monkey, girl Gone geek, Gone Yeah, like something' from the garbage pail Now, you be outta U mind you gots' ta get outta mine Gone geek, Gone Now do you understand? Do you understand? I was shocked when I learned Teddy Ruxpin was actually based on a real Bear located in a Montana zoo! The bear was so tame and smart that a small group of animal caregivers tried a logic & memory tests on him. The Bear could remember people’s faces and even started to use a kind of primitive sign langue to let the handlers know when he wanted a snack or to be let out of his cage to roam on his own for a few hours each night before ‘lock down’ at the zoo. A local reporter heard about the Bear and did a story on him, later he did another sad follow up piece for the same paper. This bear was found to be as smart as a high school student. The Bear was taught complex math equations with behavior analysis questions. He answered all of their questions and each and everyone correctly. The group started a campaign to have the Bear let out of the caged environment to roam free anyplace, anytime, anywhere it wanted to go. Just imagine the benefits we could have gotten or the wonders of nature we could have learned from the Bear. Well, the Bear won his release from the local zoo and was released from the compound on Saturday August 5th, 1988 in Western Montana at 11:00 am. The Bear was shot and killed by a group of hunters that same afternoon around 2:30 pm. It seems the Bear walked out of the woods and entered the open camper door sniffing around for food, exactly where the hunters had stopped for their lunch. The startled hunters dropped their plates grabbed their rifles and nearly tore the Bear in half firing over 30 rounds into the Bear’s chest area. That same thing could happen to Hisal if we let him out to roam the country side like a vagrant wino pushing a shopping cart or holding a sign ‘homeless - need money - god bless’ just bumming wine & crack money at street corners and traffic lights. Let’s support the courts decision and help keep Hiasl safe and in his cage at the testing facilities. At least they will keep him from dying. Reha Rogers |

Ahhh, me too! I'm also collecting money for the Mon, er I mean Apes! Rosi and Hiasl have been a major part of my life for the past umpteen Months and I have fallen in lust with the idea of giving them a decent home with a downstairs in-law suite and 2 and a half baths.
If you care anything about the welfare of these poor individuals, I call them individuals now because they are so close to my heart and I really care about their future you can request an address to send your cash deductible contributions. While we are pulling heart strings and stuff, has any of you thought about the size of your Global Footprint? If you want to have trees and shrubs planted to offset your carbon footprint I am also someone who can help. I can plant fruit bearing trees in exchange for your carbon dollars and it's a win-win proposition. Polar Bears? Did I hear someone thinking about Polar Bears and their future? Well if you have been thinking of those dear creatures and wondering where they can go after the thaw, I have a beautiful place in mind for them. One with vast snowy plains where they can run and jump and play their entire lives without a single thought of 'GLOBAL WARMING' or Climate Change as we like to call it these days. Just a few bucks a Month and a fuzzy little package containing Fish, Animal Fat from local slaughter houses (They need the fat and it's a great substitute for Seals and berries can be set aside for these affable loveable cuddley little fellas. Let me know so we can get the ugly business of money out of the way and start saving this Planet we all like to call Homeworld 1. Do it for the Apes and Whales and Seals and especially those Baby Seals.
Bless you all . |

The main argument was Hiasl is a person and has basic legal rights. His lawyers representing the association against animal Factories told some in the press. They meant his right to life, the right to not be tortured, and right to freedom without conditions. Someone said they should arrange to have Jane Goodall speak as an expert witness for him. However since Chimpanzees can communicate with each other, make tools, display emotions and have shown the capacity to understand the passage of time maybe they should represent themselves? Now the bad news, USA Today reports that a judge has dismissed the case, ruling that the Association against Animal Factories had "no legal standing to argue on the chimp’s behalf." The judge then said that only a guardian could appeal the decision. Hey Mandy, want to adopt the ape first then appeal the court’s decision on his behalf? Might be money in it for you. Red |

Yea, go figure. We didn't see much progress on chimpanzee rights in Bush's America. Maybe Obama will see things differently. FYI, the Spanish parliament is considering a bill to extend "fundamental moral and legal protections" to all apes. But remember this, once apes achieve these protections, American humans are going to want them too. I'm thinking food, shelter, and Universal medical-veterinary care for all. Who's going to pay for this...not me.
Another reason to make the human-to-ape transition is the sex, at least if you're smart enough to declare yourself a bonobo or pygmy chimpanzee. Bonobos use sex much as we use handshakes --as a form of greeting between individuals in any gender combination. See an old friend, and you start rubbing genitals together, with mutual orgasm serving as a hearty "How ya doin', pal?" Plus, bonobo bands are female-dominated, which should be a special enticement to women investigating their "chimpanzee" transition options. Just remember to wash your hands afterwords.

Well it happened. An Austrian court has denied "personhood" to Hiasl Apparently, the Austrian judge didn't think Chimps should be considered people. Hummm, we'll see what the high court has to say on this matter as Hiasl vowed Thursday to take his challenge to Austria's Supreme Court. What many of you may not know is that the legal tussle began in February when the animal shelter where Hiasl and another chimp, Rosi, lived for over 25 years filed for bankruptcy protection. The issue came about as a result of concerns that both apes would be kicked out of the shelter and wind up homeless. If anyone is interested, I'm organizing a foundation to collect cash for Hiasl and Rosi. Contributions are "tax deductible". Just let me know and I will give you the address where to send the funds. I've said what I think and think what I've said. An Ape is an Ape, 100% Apes is da kraziest peoples. Got that from a Popeye cartoon. I liked Popeye even though he was a "One eyed runt" as Bluto described him. Crazy Virgin Vegan dudes and their sleezy girlfriends who sleep with e-v-e-r-y-o-n-e except them will do and say anything hoping beyond hope that they are next in bed with these insane Women. When you have to write a disclamer on Soap saying "Do not Eat" then someone is thinking Apes are just the same as People. When a Cartoon on TV is used to sell Diet aides and the disclamer "Cartoon characters are not the same as Humans and Humans need both Diet and Exercise" then some people might need to lose some of their own rights. These are actual disclaimers. These are not the craziest ones either. When I read some and after I am finished laughing and wip ethe tears from my face I understand why some of you would want to give Human rights to Apes. They are definately YOUR mental equal. You are a tiny minority though and it'll take you literally years to sneak a person as crazy as you are in to the House to make such a Law. Look how long it took to make sexual deviants a seperate and distinct class of Human deserving of the same rights as "Humans"! |

I’ve been chairman of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation's Infrastructure by the Public Policy Committee and praised Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Last week the Times reported snub-nosed monkeys have suffered from loss of their habitat from intensive hunting and trapping. They are also caught in snares set for other animals, such as mule-musk deers and Pakistani pigs (not from Pakistan) Their population is fragmented. The geographic area is life-less. It is improbable that there is any exchange of individual fluids between these monkeys and humans. If you believe that Ted Kennedy was kicked out of Harvard for cheating. Then you believe Ted Kennedy promoted saving poor people from themselves. Senator Kennedy has been called royalty, liberal, murderer, a drunkard and brain cancer victim in the past but he has never been against human status for the mountain Gorilla. If the good Senator was for it, so am I. I hope Hiasl wins his freedom! Vincent |

Mr National, whenever a monkey dies and for whatever reason they die I think their body should be handcuffed to a belly chain and they should have shackles applied to their ankles. I realize this sounds really lame. I dead monkey is a dead monkey and it isn't too likely that the dead will do a Lazarus and come back to life and walk away. On the other hand human prisoners were doing just that in other countries around the world. If they died of, say, cancer, the death is treated like a crime has occurred. The body is subjected to a "Chain of custody" that is the body is shackled and cuffed and the body is transported by prison staff or by an ambulance with an officer with the body. The body will either be transported to the closest hospital where the prisoner will be pronounced dead or if prison medical has pronounced the prisoner the body and the officer will be transported to the morgue. When the body is taken to the morgue it will be autopsied right away if possible, if an immediate autopsy isn't possible the prisoner with cuffs and shackles intact is signed over to the coroner’s office. When the autopsy is done a prison officer will observe it and when the autopsy is done and a determination of death is made and when the body is released to whatever mortuary is doing the burial then the cuffs and shackles are removed from the body. I realize it sounds like a very complicated process but it in theory prevents any question of tampering with the body. I worked as a Registered Nurse in a prison for 9 years and I used to groan every time a prisoner died on my watch because of the paperwork and hassle. If you give this monkey human status that will come to an abrupt end because PETA will sue the pants off of the state the it occurred and I wouldn't want to do all of that paper work. Think first, WWMD? (what would marsha do) before to grant Hiasl human status. ~ Marsha |

I’ll through in my $1.05 on this important, ground breaking, and what could be the ‘biggest legal quagmire’ since Nixon’s water gate scandal. When (not if) Hiasl is granted human status he should sue the laboratory that kept him in a cage for so long performing all kinds of un-thinkable cruelties against him. His Lawyers’ could argue that since he's a person and capable of standing up-right and thinking for himself (as opposed to being owned like some wild animal or pet) he should be able to collect millions of dollars in damage. However, since he won’t be able to manage these accounts they should be granted ward over him until such time that he could handle being the first millionaire gorilla in the WORLD. The price of fame is high and maybe too much to handle right out of the starting gate. He should also finance other court cases for all of his (so called primate) brothers and sisters that are imprisoned and illegally and held against their will. *He should also be entitled to an old age pension with social security. ~Hebrew R National |

I feel the same way that most of you Yanks do. If we can teach Apes to carry protest signs against the eating of red meat and the wearing Oxen Fur, we can teach them to carry painted signs on their waists’ and to wear papers Mache hats that protest the way Human beings developed as a species. It really is true ‘apes is Peoples’ just the same as ‘peoples is peoples’ only we cannot eat with our feet’s. Well, I can but that is not the issue here. When Columbus greeted the peaceful people of Sarawak on Hispaniola, he was immediately warned about the man-eating Apes on nearby islands! The conquistadors reported that the Aztecs butchered victims, ate their flesh and fed the entrails to their zoo monkeys. Even Henry Morton Stanley (the American Insurance magnet) said huge cannibal-like Apes from all sides, savaged him during his famous trek through New York’s Manhattan Island, while trying to find Livingstone. In addition, Margaret Mead (the writer / reader) wrote about the man-eating Mundugumor monkeys of Brooklyn’s West side. There is only one thing wrong with all these reports: they come second or third hand, and are probably false! That is the surprising thesis of a new book called "My Man’s my Man-Eating Mytherdome" by Anthropologist Billy O’Dea of Arenas, who believes cannibalism may never have existed anywhere as a regular custom of chimpanzees. Therefore, I say let Hiasl have human status then he can be a productive member of our society. Stop thinking like a small minded human. *This sounds like change we all can believe in! I know, we can teach these Apes to carry protest signs against the eating of meat and the wearing of Fur! We can teach them to carry all the paints and papers to our protests and then we can paint the sighs and they can carry them., That way whatever YOU don't like or DO like you can have the voice of the Chimps on your side! I think this is a great idea on your part. With nothing to really protest you can always create something to, you know , to keep you busy when you are bored. Like protesting that Apes need the same rights as Humans do. You know, important stuff like that. APES ARE PEOPLE TOO! |

From 1215 to 1297 the Magna Carta (Great Charter) was first signed and amended till it was entered in to statutes where it remains to this day. In 1787 the Constitution of the united States was adopted. Where were the Great Apes in these great struggles? I'll tell ya. They were sitting in their Trees, eating fruits and sometimes other Apes or Birds and even Ants without a single thought of wether or not Humans were the same as Great Apes! Doing the things Animals do on a daily basis I might add. You can TRAIN them to do tasks or mimic us. You can teach them to twirl their hands about and call it sign language though I don't believe they know what they are doing except what they are tasked to do for a Banana or an Orange. There were crazy people even at those times, but none who would have even entertained the notion that an Animal has the same rights as a Human does. Anyone who did was taken to the "nervous" Hospital. Today we see crazy people differently and give them rights to be crazy because it costs too much money to keep them in the "Nervous" hospital! Even the Christian Bible says Humans have dominion over Animals and not All of them except this one or that one. No constitution anywhere and no Scientific paper I know of mentions that an Ape would or should enjoy the same status as a Human Being. Be a good steward and not a crazy person who believes they can read the minds of Animals because they have "Sad Eyes". But, why stop with a Chimp anyways? What about Lemurs? Any animal with a Thumb and human looking or large weepy eyes by your definition should have these rights. Ugly Animals need not apply. Warthogs and the like are, on their own! Do you hate all the other Animals and wish that they should live in the woods, alone and without public assistance? |

In Ventura County on Friday, a group of lookie-loos parked by the roadside and started a grass roots campaign to have Hiasl declared Human. They told me they wanted to give their children a up-close, if somber, look at another political fiasco the Republicans made. Just as I thought this was another train wreck about to happen a real train stopped on the tracks across the road and the engineer took photos with his cell phone. The other passengers goggled out the windows and also took photos. I’m a cook at Cal State Correctional Facilities and I’ve never seen anything like this before! I was so moved I started my own petition to grant Hiasl human status because it needed to be done and someone needed to do it. If I can walk into a crowd of strangers and beg for the Human status (life) of this chimpanzee so can you. I heard people from Canada to Mexico are in favor of granting human status to Hiasl. Please understand how important this matter is. You can help by starting your own Petition to bring about change. We voted for change in 08 and we should be granted change. Granting Hiasl Human status will signal victory for chimpanzees and other primate species and bring about other great changes we so desperately need. Change! |

We intend to devote all our time and energy to protecting the fundamental civil liberties of this Great Ape on the net and elsewhere. In fact over seven per cent of Swedish voters agreed with us on this. It just makes sense to put other political differences aside in order to ensure this issue. Political decisions taken over the next four years are likely to set the course we take into the information society, and will affect the lives of millions of people and monkeys for many years to come. Will we let our fears lead us towards a dystopian Big Brother state, as the Republicans want, or will we have the courage and wisdom to choose an exciting new future for the Ape in a free and open society? |

I agree with Peter that monkeys SHOULD be made to work and suffer like the rest of us. However I don't think I could climb a ladder as quickly as a chimp, status or no status. Also if a monkey did have human status AND was able to use a computer I would be out of work, as my boss says that the only thing that distinguishes me from my primate counterpart is my ability to use the computer. As someone WITH half a brain, one thing I don't need is a damn chimpanzee chiseling away at the only competitive edge I have.
Am I the only one who foresees the discrimination lawsuits pending from other "oppressed" groups of primates. What next, second-class Orangutans campaigning vigorously for their chimpanzee-like equality. Flounder who think they are as smart as Dolphins ? You can bet your bottom dollar there's a lawyer out there salivating at the thought. It's hard enough getting me to believe that women should hold the same status as men, let alone monkeys. Anyway that's my two cents worth. Care to comment anyone ? |

Monkey see, Monkey do...English schoolchildren are no longer to be provided with textbooks, they have everything they need. Having, over the years, run searches on Google that have come up totally blank, I can assure you that everything is not everything. As someone with half a brain knows, there is an awful lot of stuff that’s just not true on line. Monkeys should be MADE to work and suffer the same way we did before they climb the ladder & of human status. Think about the wider implications of this. How many schools have a computer per pupil? Pretty damn few and providing computers for all is vastly more expensive than buying Monkey food and books. Without a computer each, how can they study adequately? Many Monkeys with reasonably wealthy owners will doubtless have their own laptops, which will make them instant targets for the have-nots. Hell, Monkeys in the UK have been murdered because they were pets – how much more tempting would it be to kill a Monkey with HUMAN status? |

In our modern, computerized, industrialized world, there are few places left on the planet that can still be considered frontier lands. Monkey Island is one of these frontiers. Sure, Alaska, the state once known as Seward's Folly, now has many modern cities such as Juneau, Anchorage, and Fairbanks, but most of the state is still a wilderness. The state's population density is only one person per square mile, compared to 71 monkeys per square mile, on monkey Island. I employee over 271 people and wish every last one of them monkeys. |

A chimp (my client) met with the F.B.I. on Friday and filed reports that may lead to in inquiry by the bureau into the death the chimp, whose body was found in his Bangkok hotel room last week. The family also wants a private autopsy by Dr. Baden to help determine whether another person could have been involved in the death of the lowland Gorilla. Mr. Geragos said the family intervened because of the conflicting information coming from Thailand. Initial reports from Thai police said that chimp was found naked and hanging in a closet, and that they suspected suicide. Human, you ask? I say Human 100% |

(They kill or "put to sleep" more animals than the SPCA ya know) and American Liberals who think that Whales have more right to life than Humans (silly Human like Liberals). We ain't human experiments for you Left Winged idiots any more than we are for the Labs who use us to see if Genine Giraffalo will get an eye infection from wearing too much mascara. Oh yeah, to me the Octa-Mom looks more like Jenine and not Angelia, just my opinion. APe on sub-Man |

First the Democrats called me Lucy. Then they said I was a Neanderthal. Stupid Liberals. Always trying to apply their own intellects in to the heads of Chimps and Monkeys and Dog etc. Finally I had to become a member of Green-Peace just so I could get kicked out so I would qualify and get a job working with a bunny. Well if they COULD put my mind inside of the typical Liberal such as, oh I dunno JEANINE GIRAFF-A-LOW they might not say and do the ignorant things they say and do as often as they do. Human Rights spokesman Will Williams says, A Chimp is just a Chimp and should be treated as such but a Democrat is just a Marxist or in less extreme cases is simply a throwback Brown Shirt, pre-nazi, killing machine without the real power to exercise what their left wing, killing machine instincts want to allow. |

Cheeta, Cheetah, Cheta or Chita, was the chimpanzee character appearing in numerous Hollywood Tarzan movies of the 1930s-1960s as well as the 1966-1968 television series, as the loveable sidekick ape of Tarzan. The role of this horney little ape was played by many renowned actors of their day. Jiggs, a male chimpanzee born about 1929, Jiggs, Jr. (also known as Jiggs II), Cheta, a chimpanzee of undetermined gender born about 1937, Cheeta (male), Cheeta (Female, Zippy, C.J., and Cheeta-Mike. All of these monkeys had human actor status and pay. It wasn’t until GW Bush became President that they lost their status and placed below us on the evolutionary ladder. We need to end human status for all Republicans. |

Also did you know that chimps have also created a better society than ours in that researchers have discovered that males will trade meat to females for regular sex. Its true, see news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7988169.stm Wow, is all this "Animal Planet" talk making anyone else horny or am I the only one? I swear, meat for sex, that's even better than a fistful of Pesos! Now, where can I rent a monkey suit this far from Halloween? Also, hot wings. I'm gonna need hot wings...lots and lots of hot wings...ummmm aaahhhhh |

A chimp probably does not know if he wants to be human or not. But that should be one of the many differences that separates him from us. However, anthropologists admit it's hard to define what is and what isn't human. I say "I be Human" |

When will all of these Bush supporters admit that they hate animals and want to rid the world of innocent furry animals? Animals need protection, not people! I don’t agree with "Will" let the animals live with us, like us (They are practically US anyway) |

When I was a child, I spoke as a child. I think W. Bush is entirely to blame because of the way he lied to us about 911. We know the government was behind that and we know the government is behind this. |

"He recognises himself in the mirror, plays hide-and-seek and breaks into fits of giggles when tickled"
My cat does that too but cats are not as tasty as chimps. |

Hiasl should not be treated as a lab animal.Actually none of them should be.There are a lot of companies who produce their products without animal testing or using any animal in any kind of way in a lab.
This is a disgussting situation.
My support and prayers are with Hiasl. |

Much as I like, respect and think we should protect the other great apes....
....to be human, you must be human.
