Byron B THE TRUTH OF GERONAMO SHOULD BE KNOWN SEND THIS TO WASHINGTON OR TO THOSE THAT WILL LISTEN HE WAS A WARRIOR ,A HERO, A SAVIOR AGAINST THOSE WHO WOULD WANT TO DESTROY HIS RACE. NOT TOBE COMPAIRED TO BINLADEN. I,M APOLED THAT OBAMA WOULD ATCH HIS NAME AND DISCREDIT THE NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORY 5/9/2011

Victoria E. I think that the Mexicans had no reason to kill Geronimo's wife and children and that the only reason that he fought was because of the Mexicans killing some of the people in his tribe. 12/8/2010

MagikStar What the Mexicans did to his family was a disgrace, the same with the US Governments and Army. Geronimo and his people will live in my heart forever. 6/26/2010
Jessica Talyor I think that this is a good article, it has a lot of detail. It could use more pictures though... he should live on to be known to people all around the world! 5/24/2010
cheslea uhm...? 3/23/2010
sandra green I think when a men is dealt a bad hand of pain in life, he is only human to act as the monster which he gaves back showing the wrong done to him. 2/27/2010
Sarah A very sad story, but I think you should've had more pictures of him. 2/26/2010
Hummingbird nah Goyathlay was his real name. He died of phamonia in a hospital in Fort Sill Okla. He had fallen off his horse and lay in a cold ditch all night. He was in his 80s. Many Apaches lived well into their 100. The white man's sicknesses killed and weakened the native people more that the fighting .

Please horoe this man for the real reasons of honor. Beside being a defender of his people in battle. He was a dutiful son who honored his mother and cared for her needs. a good husband and loving father. Apaches never abandoned their families. I was against their law. A man was a disgraceful coward who neglected the needs of his aged parents, or his wife and children and could be exisled from his tribe for this crime.
