i am a kid im 12 and in seventh grade,
if polar bears had a right to talk ... i'd bet they say they didn't wan't to die. what do these SO called animal rigths people think they are? if they were they would let the polar bear live, they dont know anything.. and you probably saying i dont eaither well im a kid, but i still think this kind of thing is wrong,.. there unde3r extinction.. so why killl more? the zoo keepers are doing there job.. the animal NOT rights poeple aren't.		 4/26/2010

ANNIE I can believe i just read Animal Rights Activists would want to kill an cute, beautiful and rare creature. I DO NOT AGREE that human interaction will harm "little Knut". It will save him from other prediators which most likely would see fresh meat. So what...if little Knut will get human interaction, its better than the alternative. Rachael H I do not agree with putting down this adorable cub. Helping and saving polar bears are very crucial right now. Like the schoolchildren I agree, "knut must live". Rustyn this polar bear will not be released into the wild because he will be held at the zoo. if he was going to be euthanized why didn't someone take care of the issue in the beginning? no one wants to do that to an animal who is on the verge of becoming extinct. there have been other animals that were abandoned by their parents and no one suggested euthanizing them when they were raised by humans.it is not necessarily a bad thing that people are saving animals they are trying to keep the wild life alive to where our new society does not causing the number of animals to drop. they are doing a wonderful thing 4/30/2008
