i think uniforms is a good idea because it will stop some of the unecessary violence that goes on because of what someone is wearing. It would eliminate most of the distractions and allow studenta to be more focused on there acadimics. And the school would be able to tell if an intruder was on the primesses. It may take away the students ability to express there personality through there clothing but i think it makes them safe and more civilized. it makes the schools look as if officials are doin there jobs of keepin a calm and safe learning enviroment for students. |

Okay, first off. Wearing uniform will stop kids in gangs from wearing thier gang color. It'll help with kids who can't afford all the brand name clothing, like me. I get made fun of for not having this kind of shirt, or these kinds of pants. A few other kids are like me, I know.. In my city all the catholis high schools wear uniforms. A few of my friends go to a catholic high school. For boys: Black pants and a white shirt with the school logo. For Girl: A black skirt and a white shirt with the school logo. I don't find anything wrong with the uniform. I heard nothing about fighting about clothing, or anything like that. I think that uniforms make everyone feel the same, not totaly the same but, the same as in "Oh, her clothes are so ugly." and other comments. |

First off, I understand that many think that school uniforms would be very benifical . This may be true in some case, but mostly people believe with a twirl of a magic wand all social, and behavioral issues would disappear, along with our creativity and individuality. The truth is regardless of matching polos the rich kids will still have money. The "jocks" will still be recognizable, and the trouble makers will still be causing havic. All uniforms would do is suppress students constitutional rights. Conformity isn't always the answer. |

Secondly, I think if children don’t wear school uniform they should get in trouble for not wearing school uniform.
I strongly believe that children should wear school uniform because it is a lot cheaper than buying lots of other clothes.
I would like to restate my conclusion. I strongly believe.
Wearing school uniform show that you are presenting that school.
You can get school uniforms for really cheap on the secondhand shop.
